What is MEB Prep?

MEB Prep is a web-based application that provides automated workflows to track and process documentation associated with the preparation of Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) and Non-Duty Physical Evaluation Board (Non-Duty PEB) packets. MEB Prep provides the Army National Guard case managers at the state-level and Army Reserve Medical Management Center (AR-MMC) case managers at the component-level, the capability to initiate MEB and Non-Duty PEB actions for Service Members who have been referred to the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES). The MEB Prep workflow facilitates the completion of the 17-item checklist, for review and regulation by the Medical Evaluation Board Tracking Office (MEBTO), as well as gives Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) the ability to review and convene MEB packets electronically.

The Non-Duty PEB workflow facilitates the electronic tracking of the DA Form 199 and completion of NDP packets for review by the Physical Disability Agency (PDA) and Joint Base San Antonio Physical Evaluation Board (JBSA PEB).
